Helms Wins 2023 ScissorTail Invitational

The 2023 ScissorTail Invitational was held June 22-25 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with two flights participating in the American Six Wicket event.

Conner Helms took first place in Championship Flight, with Matt Baird taking second place and Britt Ruby claiming third. In First Flight, Dale Jordan claimed first place with Carl Archiniaco in second and Suzanne Spradling taking third place.

Oklahoma Wins Central Thriller

In the brief three-year history of the Croquet Network States Shield, no test had come down to the final one vs one singles match up. That changed on Sunday afternoon as the two Central Quad favorites Oklahoma and two-time defending Shield champion Missouri squared off in a back-and-forth championship final test at the Oklahoma City Golf & Country Club in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

2018 States Shield Roster Deadline

May 11, 2018

The 2018 Croquet Network States Shield deadline for all rosters is next Friday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. eastern US time. All state team directors should submit up to eight players for their initial rosters by the deadline. While only three players actually play during an individual test, the larger roster gives team directors flexibility to make adjustments to their starting line-ups between the qualification round and the championship without appealing to the other team directors.

The fourth annual ScissorTail Invitational American Rules 6 wicket tournament held September 14-17, 2017 at the Oklahome City Golf and Country Club in in Oklahoma City provided stiff yet cordial competition in all three flights. Twenty participants from New York, Louisiana, Texas, and Oklahoma filled the slots available.
