Peachtree Hills Place Croquet Club hosted the inaugural United States Croquet Association Georgia Cup Tournament on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23 for two days of intense croquet competition by top players from throughout the state of Georgia, several who are ranked amongst the best national players. The tournament, sponsored by Mercedes-Benz of Buckhead and TheKey, featured golf croquet and include players from Peachtree Hills Place Croquet Club and Lenbrook Croquet, Jekyll Island Croquet Club and Carroll County Croquet Club. Carroll County Croquet Club won the tournament with a combined score of 33 and Jekyll Island Croquet Club finished second.

The 2023 GC Over 50's World Championship is set to take place from October 14-21, 2023, in Western Australia. The Management Committee has announced the allocation of places for this 48-person event. According to the Committee, there will be 20 Full Member Places, 4 Associate Member Places, 4 Qualifier Places, and 20 Ranking Places available for the championship. The 20 Ranking Places have been awarded to the players based on the Initial Ranking List dated end of March 29, 2023. This is based on their Max DG ranking over 12 months as per Sports Regulations Appendix 2, clause 2.3.

Stan Patmor, 86, pub owner, restauranteur, croquet afficionado and good friend, passed away February 13, 2023. Stan grew up in Phoenix but graduated high school in Portland, Oregon. He then enlisted in the U.S. Navy, where his considerable intellectual gifts placed him in an intelligence unit that often manned a ship in the South Pacific, intercepting electronic communications from America’s adversaries during the dark days of the Cold War. Post-Navy Stan returned to Phoenix and began his lifelong love of plants and landscape design.
