The Chesapeake Bay Croquet Club is accepting registrations for the 2023 Spring Fling American 6-Wicket Croquet Tournament to be held from March 18 to May 9, 2023. This is a USCA-sanctioned event and players will earn handicap tracking points.
The tournament is open to anyone who wants to enter of any skill level. The cost is $10 for CBCC members and $20 for non-members. Entries will be accepted until midnight, March 16.

The event, which will consist of six qualifying stages, will culminate in the Grand Final to be held at the prestigious Roehampton Club in London, England from October 13-15, 2023. During each of the six qualifying stages, four teams of four players will compete against each other over the course of a single weekend. The first Qualifying Stage was held in November 2022 at the Algarve Club in Portugal, which saw the Roehampton Club emerge victorious (results on croquetscores.com).

Have you ever wanted to learn how to be a Tournament Director? As a new benefit of membership, the USCA is offering an opportunity to learn the basics of tournament administration from Jeff Soo. When you finish, you'll feel confident that you can run a small club tournament of at least 20-30 people. This event will be held via Zoom over four 90-minute sessions. You must plan to attend each session.
Each session will include a mix of general event management issues and scheduling techniques. Participants are expected to complete reading assignments before each session, and will be assigned homework after each of the first three sessions.
