KC to Host 2016 Midwest Regional

PARKVILLE, MO -- USCA Midwestern Regional VP Matt Griffith has announced Kansas City as the host city for the 2016 USCA Midwest Regionals to be played as golf croquet singles and Waterford doubles. The event will be held June 24-26, 2016 at Griffith's Kactus Creek Croquet Club and The National Golf Club of Kansas City in Parkville, Missouri (northern part of the Kansas City metro).

The event has an entry deadline of June 13, 2016 and a cap of 24 players; however, it is open to USCA players of all regions with priority given to Midwest region entries.

"We will have a Championship Flight and a First Flight," said Griffith. "If we get enough entries we will also have a Second Flight. We will be playing some games in the evening under the lights at Kactus Creek."

Proposed Tournament Schedule

  • Thursday, June 23rd Practice 1:00 - 5:00 PM. Opening Reception at Courtside at 5:00 - 6:30 PM.
  • Friday, June 24th Play begins at 8:00 AM. 
  • Saturday, June 25th Play continues. 8:00 AM. Kactus Creek Croquet Club, Drinks @ 6 PM and Dinner @ 7PM.
  • Sunday, June 26th Playoffs, Finals, Lunch, and Trophy presentations at Courtside after play.
