Morning Coffee: Croquet Network vs Croquet Nation

With the summer croquet season winding down here in Kansas City, the Morning Coffee series is back on tap until next summer. Out of the gate for the offseason, we are making some branding adjustments. Several years ago, the forum site became the home of croquetnetwork.com. Over the next few weeks, the forum community will officially transition to the CroquetNation.com name and domain. And, this old magazine site is re-claiming the CroquetNetwork.com domain and branding.

The reasoning behind the changes ... primarily, I want to see the two sites operate independently. They will serve two different roles. CroquetNetwork.com will focus on video, features, photos, news and the directory to strive to be an online magazine with the goal of providing more original content.

CroquetNation.com will be the voice of croquet players across the world. The focus will be on forums, tournament calendars, user photos and user videos. The success of the website is in the hands of the members although I will continue in our quest to recruit moderators for each of the four forums.

In the meantime, enjoy this refresher from around the world of croquet.
