Pre-Tourney hype for the Golf Croquet World Championship is firing up and there are several bits of good news. First, there is an official dedicated site at gcworlds2011.org that everyone should visit. Second, it appears as though Bestinvest has signed on as an official sponsor. Sponsorships are something that I think we'd all like to see as a trend. Finally, the event is utilizing a Twitter account as well (a fantastic way to notify followers of updates and news). The only disappointment would be the lack of an RSS feed.

Also, Stephen Mulliner reported on the Nott's List that the World GC Rankings have been updated.

Speaking of dedicated websites, you can follow the New Zealand Open on the official website. Check out the results page for updates. Currently, the doubles event is in progress with Bryant/Chapman taking on Clarke/McIntosh and Fletcher/Fletcher vs Drew/Skinley in the semi-finals.
