The 2017 Croquet Network States Shield Championship final is set to roll out this Saturday at Kactus Creek Croquet Club in Parkville, Missouri as the Missouri state GC squad will host the visiting Wisconsin team. The projected team line-ups and are as follows:
MISSOURI: 1) Matt Smith 2) Steve Jackson 3) Billy Bob Breeden
WISCONSIN: 1) Cheryl Bromley 2) Nels Bjorkquist 3) Mary Hennelly
The first round starts at 8:30 a.m. and begins with a doubles match, that will be followed by a full day of head to head singles action. The first squad to six wins will claim the 2017 Croquet Network States Shield title. If the event is tied at 5-5, there will be an additional doubles game to break the tie.
