Royal Tunbridge Wells Croquet Club - U.K. club has three full-size lawns and occupies a favourable position at the top of Calverley Grounds, Mount Pleasant in the centre of Royal Tunbridge Wells. www.tunbridgewellscroquet.org.uk
Meadows Mallet Croquet Club -- Brand new North Carolina club site built with Ning. Demonstrates the ability to quickly launch a site and build on as you go. Great photos!
Missouri Croquet Association -- This is actually an old link, but the site has been redesigned and in the spirit of full disclosure, I did the redesign. I wanted to highlight it because I believe this is the model for all club sites. And that is not necessarily from a aesthetic standpoint, but more from the functionality. The news module is featured right on the front page, so if the club is diligent about posting announcements and results (which is super easy by the way) the site always looks active.
Canberra Croquet Club -- A beautiful website for this croquet club based in Canberra, Australia. You can also take a fuzzy look at this club on Google streetview as well.
Greenwich Croquet Club -- Active croquet club in Greenwich, Connecticut with a vast website.
Lenox Croquet Club-- The Lenox Croquet Club is a USCA-sanctioned club located in Lenox, Massachusetts with two and a half full-size courts or as many as five half-size courts.
Bald Head Island -- A North Carolina club that I think serves as an interesting example with posted play schedules and details on organizing events at the club.
Oakland Croquet Club-- The Oakland Croquet Club plays on one of three lawn bowling greens located at Lake Merritt's Lakeside Park on Bellevue Avenue in Oakland, CA.
Boston Croquet Club -- Boston club based in Milton Massachusetts. Shares lawns with the local lawn Bowling Club and is able to set up two near full size courts.
Associations
Croquet Australia -- With the Womens Golf Croquet Championship occuring in Cairnlea, it was time to get a link to this association site. Very informative site.
Sarasota County Croquet Club -- The SCCC is located in Venice, Florida and the video above is a superb introduction to the club.
National Croquet Center-- The crown jewel of U.S. Croquet is located in West Palm Beach, Florida and features 12 full-size croquet lawns and a 19,000 square foot clubhouse.
Detroit Croquet Club -- This site has intrigued me for quite a while. Although some of the pages have never been filled with content and no updates appear, I feel the concept of what they are doing and the feel of the site is unique and possibly a promising way to organize a club. Would love to see this site be more active, but at the least, maybe by checking it out club managers can draw from the website design and format.
Associations
USCA Nine-Wicket Croquet Site -- I think this site is structured well and can be a key to developing the game across the United States. The site offers an RSS feed so you can stay up-to-date with the news section with your iGoogle or MyYahoo page or other feed reader.
Croquet New Zealand -- The association site for croquet in New Zealand which boasts nearly 4,000 members. A functional site that seems to be updated frequently. My favorite discovery here is the collection of PDF versions of their magazine -- Croquet New Zealand Update.
International
CroquetRecords.com -- This site updates the International, U.S. and North American rankings among other things. If you dig around, you'll find a good history on champions and tournament results as well.
Bowdon Croquet Club -- The club in England looks like a good model for running a large club. Of particular interest to me was the pricing scale.
CroquetNC.org -- This site covers North Carolina croquet and some great articles on tactics in the reference section.
Kactus Creek Croquet Club-- This is a club in Parkville, Missouri that boasts the only quality croquet field in the Kansas City Metro area. It also happens to be where I play. Matt Griffith built this field in his backyard over a period of seven years (2000-2007).
Association
The Croquet Association -- The association website for the sport of croquet in England, Wales, Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man. More news on croquet for the associated clubs than you can keep up with.
International
Dyffryn Croquet Club (Wales) -- Since my grandfather was Welsh, I had to get this club in. Looks like a beautiful place to play.
All links above will now appear in the Croquet Links section on the navigation bar at the top of the site.
