I've just returned from four days in West Palm Beach, Florida where I participated in the Annual USCA Planning Meetings at the National Croquet Center. It kicked off on Friday night, with the 2010 awards ceremony, where I am thrilled to announce that Croquet Network was given the USCA's Media Coverage award.
While the meetings took place on Saturday and Sunday, over 100 players were battling it out during the USCA Club Teams tournament. So there was plenty of activity and action all weekend and I had the opportunity to meet in person Danny Huneycutt, Bob Alman, Jeff and Eileen Soo, Gene Young and many more. It was great to finally put a face to so many names, I've only known through e-mail or phone calls.
I did unfortunately forget my laptop, so the planned daily reporting had to be scrapped and Morning Coffee is now a little behind. There's more to come on the event and expect the schedule to be caught up throughout the week.
